We keep cookies to the minimum. Plateau uses only essential cookies needed to deliver and secure the service and to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third‑party tracking cookies.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They let a site remember things between requests — for example, that you are signed in.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
- Authentication (Cloudflare Access). When you sign in to the Plateau app, Cloudflare sets a secure cookie (e.g. CF_Authorization) so you stay authenticated for your session. Without it, the gated app cannot keep you logged in.
- Security & delivery (Cloudflare). Cloudflare may set short‑lived cookies (e.g. __cf_bm) to distinguish humans from bots and protect the service.
These are essential and cannot be switched off without breaking sign‑in or security.
What we don't use
We do not use analytics, advertising, profiling or cross‑site tracking cookies. We do not sell data to advertisers.
3. Local storage (not cookies)
The Plateau application stores your projects, pinned charts and preferences in your browser's local storage / IndexedDB. This stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is not a cookie. You can clear it at any time by clearing site data for plateauquant.com.
4. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to the app.
5. Changes
If we introduce additional cookies (for example, privacy‑respecting analytics), we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
